For Sale: 1978 Dodge B200 “Home and Parks” Camper

117,797km 318ci V8 Automatic, power steering and brakes. Was manufactured in November of 1977 and upfitted by “Home and Park” and was CSA classified as an RV that the original owners purchased in February of 1978.

$7500 as-is. Starts and drives well, drove approx 1000Km this year.

The original owners used it primarily for winter travel, accumulating 110,000KM by 1989, after which it was winterized and parked indoors. It was moved outdoors approx 2020 when the original owners estate was settled.

Sold to us by the heirs in 2021, it was resurrected in two weekends with a new fuel pump, fuel lines, new brakes, new tires, alternator, shocks, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor; then it was driven 250km home with no issues. We filmed part of that trip and you can watch it here. The turn signal system was updated to pass certification and in 2022 it was converted to fuel injection. There are rust stains in the paint but the underbody is incredibly rust free.

It has also had incidental maintenance since then including a re-cored radiator, new transmission cooler lines, new oil pan, new water pump and new windshield washer motor. An awning has also been added.

Details that require attention:
There is minor collision damage in to the driver’s side front bumper and fender.
The valve on the propane tank needs to be replaced.
The propane furnace ignites but needs a new flame sensor or fan switch.

The owner has since emigrated and our family is not using the vehicle enough to justify keeping it.

It’s amazing how easy it is to find parts for this vehicle. It’s a great candidate for a restoration or to be refitted as you see fit.

Moar Music!

MOJO INC, live at the Linsmore Tavern, November 15, 2022. L-R is Adam, John, Colin and Greg.

So, since I’ve about had it with Facebook, I’ve decided to go back to blogging with WordPress. This isn’t the easiest way to go about it, but it gives me more control, which I like.

So the news for today is that MOJO INC has me playing bass for them. They are an indie punk/rock band that likes to go fast and loud. And since there ain’t nothin wrong with that, I’m bringing the thunder with my old Fender Precision Bass. You can check out the video from the Linsmore show here: https://youtu.be/h6T6-yxmlIQ

If you like what you heard, we’re playing at the Bovine on Dec 8th between Nonentities and Roughnotes.

Temporarily under reconstruction

Apparently my ISP decided that I needed to have them host this site instead of being able to do it myself. Kinda surprising, I know.

I’m aware of the issue but I can’t contact them until Monday. Apologies for the inconvenience.
